Sword of Promised Victory

Well, it's not winning any prizes but it's my Excalibur Morgan/Black Excalibur for my Saber Alter. Ramencon is this weekend and I really needed to fix what I took to ACen. I still have to clean it up a little. There's a spot where the black paint flaked off for the umpteenth time. Very annoying. This is why I tend not to use props but Saber Alter can't NOT have her sword. Seeing as how I am a kind of new/never really seen version of Saber, I need the sword to be semi recognizable.

While painting it, I realized one of the pieces had been flipped when I took it to ACen as you can see from my other picture of Saber Alter, the markings are not in the same place. Then when I was painting, I flipped another part of it. So, there was much painting over and cursing at it.

Some time after Ramencon, I think I'm going to commission a better one. This sword came from a costume shop and the hilt really isn't right but it was close enough for the sake of saving me some sanity before ACen.
