Oh Lordy.

I didn't mean to not update since November but meh.

It's been a rough winter. And by rough, I mean spending a good half the winter ready to burst into tears at the drop of a hat. This winter has been particularly brutal. I'm sure everyone knows about how bad this winter was in the Midwest. And it just hit me really hard this year. I had such a good 2013 but kinda just broke down end of January, beginning of February.

Anyway, due to this, I certainly haven't worked on anything as much as I would have like to. I hit some major stumbling blocks with cosplay. And by blocks, I mean I crashed into a mother fucking wall multiple times. I only ended up committing to 1 new cosplay for this ACen. Everything else is just updating old stuff. Which is kinda sad. I've done more in the past and having so little feels...I don't know, like I failed.

50's style Sailor Jupiter will be part of a (hopefully) full group of scouts. I'm not sure how far along other people are. So in the end, I don't know how this will turn out.

I was hoping to have Zelda's Skyloft dress for ACen but in all likelihood, that won't happen. I was so mad at the dress I didn't touch it for weeks. Now I've gone back to it and made progress but I can't see getting it to a personally acceptable level of completion by mid May. So it may end up being a Ren Faire project.

Tsunade has been updated with better fabric. I will use the same pants but I made new green and gray robes. I also got a new wig. Not thrilled with it but I'll investigate getting something better later.

Zekrom is getting the tail fixed. I had fabric in there that never should have been there.

Saber Alter got stains on the lace after the garden shoot I did so I had to rip out a few inches around the bottom and sew in new pieces. Luckily, if the rest of the overskirt got dirty, it either doesn't show or washed out. Also working on getting a new sword for Saber. My plastic on keeps chipping. And I made the horrible realization I painted the red on incorrectly. But no one ever called me out on it.

Not sure what else to bring. Ukyo has only made it to one con. Faris hasn't been out much. I could do Saturn again. My green steampunk outfit? I don't know.

I'll continue to slowly work on Zelda. Since I got over my wall, I'm hoping it'll be relatively smooth from here on out.

I just want the sun to come out and stay out. I'm tired of feeling like nothing.
